Lady Chieftains Basketball Summer Pride will start June 3, Monday thru Thursday for the month of June! This will be For incoming girls 7th thru 12th grade, who are interested in playing Basketball next year! This will be a Summer Pride workout to increase Basketball Skills & Promote Strength & Conditioning! Attached you will find the Calendar for June with times & location. Parents & Athletes please use the QR codes below to Join the team communication platform for updates moving forward. Parents please note you must put your Athletes name in the players name box when creating your account or for safety purposes you will not be approved. Please tag or share this with all Perspective Athletes and parents 7th-12th who May be interested! **Open gym will be at the HS May 28,29th & 30th 2-4pm. Before Summer workouts start June 3rd! TODAY IS THE DAY!!! Seminole High School family and friends! With immense pride and anticipation, we announce that our Graduation Ceremony is scheduled for 8:00 PM, taking place in the Seminole High School gymnasium. This is a momentous occasion that marks the culmination of hard work and dedication. Doors will open at 6:45 PM, and we ask all guests to enter through the main entrance at the front of the school. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, seating will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, without the option to save or mark off seats. We have arranged for ample seating in the chair-back section, bleachers, and additional overflow seating in the commons/cafe area, complete with a video feed of the ceremony, ensuring nobody misses out on this special occasion. For your convenience, overflow parking is available at the Haney Center on the campus of Seminole State College, with shuttle buses ferrying guests to and from the high school before and after the ceremony. Please note, that graduates, along with SPS faculty and staff, will have designated parking in the Southeast overflow lot. We deeply appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we come together to celebrate the achievements of our graduates. Let’s make this a memorable and joyous occasion for all. See you there!

Last week marked Teacher Appreciation Week, where we honored the incredible teachers and staff at Seminole High School. The SHS team has been working tirelessly, always prepared to do whatever it takes to keep the school running smoothly. We are truly grateful for our teachers' dedication and look forward to wrapping up the school year this week! We also want to give a big shoutout and let everyone know how thankful to our amazing community members for showing extra love to us last week and this week, thank you to Drip Coffee, Frederick's State Farm, and The Cain Family! We appreciate the continued support and love!

Today is National School Nurses day and we want to give a huge shout out to our amazing nurses Stephanie Killian and Callie Giles! Stephanie and Callie play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students every day. Their compassion, expertise, and commitment to providing quality care do not go unnoticed. From tending to minor scrapes and bruises to offering a comforting hand during moments of illness, Stephanie and Callie truly embody the spirit of care and support within our school community. We are incredibly grateful for their hard work and unwavering dedication to keeping our students safe and healthy. Thank you, Stephanie and Callie, for all that you do!
